簡報教練的故事

I met a book.

I met a book, "The meaning of it all thoughts of a
Citizen-Scientist." (ISBN: 0-201-36080-2) It was written by a famous
scientist, Richard P. Feyman. He discussed from the basic issue. The
feature of science is suspicious and uncertainness. After the skipped
reading of Karl Popper's idea, I thought Feyman's lecture will be more
easier to understand. Scientific philosophy does a long journey to
explore. Sometimes I doubt any usefulness of philosophy exists, but I
found it'll be helpful to ask a question. :)

He gave a example. In the beginning of his/her story of America,
those grand old persons consider there are none knows how to establish
a government, even knows how rule it well. Because none knows, they
created a system to govern the state. The method is allowing new and
different ideas existing in this system, and give the
new one chance to try it work or not. Theoe grand persons know
the value of uncertainness that the old method maybe not the complete
right and perfect method. Suspicious , free mind, and discussing is the
key of progress.
In the first section - "the uncertainness of science". He said
"Today we didnot fepend the system of slave, we allow everybody to live
free, and spare no effort to produce. And we have the ability of
produce the enough food to deal with the large population and controll
the disease. It was much possibly based the development of scientific
tools." I donot agree this paragraph. If we back to the era of slave,
even a scientist create a machine able to replace all slaves. In the
meanwhile, another scientist created a tool to improve the work
efficiency of slaves. Those butchers still not choose the former
machine to cut the cost of production. Because it's a social problem
not scientific.
